When asked what the beauty contest of the most popular in Indonesia, most likely the answer is Putri Indonesia.
Puteri Indonesia is a beauty contest held in Indonesia since 1992 by Miss Indonesia Foundation which is chaired by Mooryati Soedibyo and sponsored by a cosmetics company Mustika Ratu. Puteri Indonesia will become the nation's deputy ambassador in Indonesia or activities that international standard and participate in advancing the Indonesian export commodities, tourism and culture of Indonesia.
